Communicating Research Effectively (CORE) is the ocean sciences graduate-student organization at UC Santa Cruz. We aim to provide an inclusive environment for graduate students and early-career scientists to improve their science communication skills. We aim to provide research experiences to underrepresented undergraduates through our Graduate-Undergraduate collaboartion project. We host events and workshops on science communication strategies to support education through the use of digital tools, art and more.
